From Numbers to Nurturing Talent: My Journey from CA to Entrepreneur
As a Rankholder Chartered Accountant, numbers have always been my first love. I spent 7 years working in the industry, followed by another 10 years in the world of tax consultancy. Titles and designations may have changed over time, but at the core—I have always been, and will always be, an accountant by heart.
Growing up in a Marwadi business family, entrepreneurship ran in my veins. But it wasn’t until the world stood still during COVID that I truly reconnected with that part of myself.
**Takeaway: Every bad time hides an opportunity. Use it.
It’s never too late—until your last breath.**
While most people were locked indoors, struggling for stability, I saw it as a window to revisit my passion. I started creating content around Accounts & Finance on LinkedIn—mainly posting job opportunities in the field.
And something unexpected happened.
I started receiving thousands of CVs from Chartered Accountants, Accountants, CS, CMAs and finance professionals. People were trusting me with their careers. I used to read every CV myself, screen them with care, interact with candidates, understand their stories—and match them with the right openings.
It wasn’t work. It was passion.
Takeaway: Every businessman is a value-building machine.
As the world unlocked, I found myself on the edge of something new.
I stepped away from my established CA practice and dove into entrepreneurship.
I learned web development.
I explored digital marketing.
And slowly, I built a system.
We built a tech-enabled recruitment platform—equipped with APIs, chatbots, automations—to manage our growing pool of Accounts & Finance professionals and streamline the hiring process for companies.
Today, we have a database of over half a million finance professionals and serve hundreds of top-tier companies with recruitment services tailored specifically to the finance domain.
**Takeaway:
Decision = Progress.
Never kill an idea by comparing it with opportunity cost.
Let it breathe. Let it fly.**
My journey is far from over.
But one thing I know—we’re not here for the sprint.
We’re here for the long run.
We’ll go slow.
But we’ll go far.
